Welcome
I have been researching family history for over twenty years. It started with my grandma and nana telling stories about their parents and grandparents, and it grew into a passion that has taken me through parish records, workhouse archives, medieval Latin documents and DNA matches with relatives across the world.
I have written a book about the Bedford family, tracing them back to an ancestor born around 1620. Now I am working on a more comprehensive history of the Gidlow family, landed gentry from Lancashire.
